Application of machine learning in advanced depression care

Researchers at the Regenstrief Institute and the University of India have developed predictive decision-making models for patients with depression who need more care.

According to the World Health Organization, about 350 million people worldwide suffer from depression, among whom people with high-intensity depression need more and more advanced care services. By creating such an algorithm, these people can be identified and the potential effects of depression can be prevented.
